Join the John Bradburne Pilgrimage Walk 2026

Step into the beauty of the Cumbrian landscape and be part of a meaningful day of reflection, community, and challenge. This year’s pilgrimage walk leads to High Cup Nick, one of England’s most breathtaking natural landmarks.

 

Start the day with Mass at St John the Evangelist Church, Skirwith at 10am.

 

13km guided walk (approx. 5 hours) with stunning views.

 

Open to all, whether walking or joining for Mass. If walking you need a good level of fitness for the climb. 

 

Refreshments and exhibition afterwards at Skirwith Village Hall.

 

This is more than a walk, it’s a chance to celebrate the life and legacy of John Bradburne while supporting the Mutemwa Leprosy Care Centre.

 

No fee to join, but donations are warmly welcomed.
